A world-renowned automotive parts manufacturer
Headlight gripping and inspection
The customer built a new automobile headlight production line to improve the efficiency of the manual operation in the past, and the process rhythm cannot be guaranteed. The automobile headlight was assembled with a lampshade that is transparent and reflective, making it extremely difficult for robots to accurately grip it. Through the conveyor belt flow to the gripping position, the workpiece position is uncertain, one side of the curved surface, the other side of the complex shape, tool positioning to achieve high cost. By using the laser 3D vision system, the user solved the headlight loading positioning and inspection and positioning problems.
SOLUTION
AT-S1000-01A-E Binocular laser line 3D camera
The product is characterised by high precision, large FOV and high adaptability. Stable structure, high degree of intelligence, strong versatility without the need for secondary development help users to realise flexible production.
Special material
The target for loading is the lamp shade, and the laser imaging solution has good detection capability for the transparent and reflective surfaces of the headlamp housing.
High adaptability
The inspection surface is the back of the headlight, which is all black and has a complex shape, making it difficult to adapt the tooling. 3D vision system can capture the coordinates of the holes and guide the robot to perform high-precision inspections.
Lower input costs
The 3D vision system can replace positioning tools, quickly identify multiple models of headlights, improve the degree of flexibility of the production line, and help users reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Easy to use
The system is easy to use, and the software can be used without programming. Daily only need appearance cleaning, fixing and other routine maintenance, service life of not less than 5 years.
