A well known car manufacturer
Automotive exhaust assembly loading
On the chassis assembly line in the final assembly shop, the customer is planning to robotize the assembly of the middle section of the exhaust pipe. The workpieces are transported to the assembly station by AGVs, and the position of the exhaust pipe in the fixture is uncertain and may not be fully loaded. According to the order, a variety of chassis are to be produced in the same station, and the size of the exhaust pipe is about 2 metres, and the stainless steel material has a certain degree of surface reflection. By using the laser 3D vision system, the customer realised the common line production of different specifications and large-size workpieces to meet the requirements of assembly and loading precision and accuracy, which was highly appreciated by the customer's internal.
SOLUTION
AT-S1000-04A-E Binocular laser line 3D camera
The product is characterised by high precision, fast deployment and easy maintenance. Lightweight and compact, with a high degree of intelligence and versatility, without the need for secondary development, it helps users to realise flexible production.
Precise positioning
The 3D vision system can correct the in-place deviation of AGVs and conveyors, and realise the effect of recognising large-sized workpieces with a small field-of-view camera by extracting the characteristics of the workpieces.
High adaptability
The laser imaging solution can effectively deal with reflections, speckles and other disturbances on the surface of the part and can be adapted to typical shop environments.
Lower input costs
The 3D vision system can replace the positioning tool, complete the introduction of new products in a short time according to production demand, improve the degree of flexibility of the production line, and quickly recover costs.
Easy to use
The system is easy to use, and the software can be used without programming. Daily only need appearance cleaning, fixing and other routine maintenance, service life of not less than 5 years.
