Automated loading of track links
Track links are connect parts of construction machinery such as excavators and bulldozers. The weight of one track link is 15~30kg. The customer requires that cycle time should be 10s/piece, which is difficult to achieve by manual handling. So they decide to deploy automated production lines to realize automatic loading. Track links are supplied by the material frame, its position and posture in the material frame are random, and the positioning of the workpiece becomes a problem. The 3D vision system guides the robot to accurately grasp the workpiece, and apply to multiple material frames at the same time to realize efficient loading of tracks links by slide rail installation.
