Depalletizing of zinc ingots
The customer produces various types of zinc metal deep-processing products such as spheroidal zinc powder, flake zinc powder, etc. A large number of zinc ingots need to be depalletised and handled on a daily basis. The depalletising station is located in a semi-outdoor environment where the surface of the zinc ingots is uneven and slightly reflective, and the position of the stacks, the heights of the different layers of the zinc ingots and the inclination of the zinc ingots are uncertain. The laser 3D vision system provides positioning guidance for the robot that is well adapted to the working conditions and environment of the station, helping the customer to effectively improve production efficiency and reduce labour costs.
