The customer built a new automated machining line for finishing castings, using robots for machine loading and unloading. The customer introduced a 3D vision system to replace fixtures and limiters, the frame only needs to be placed in the designated area, the vision system can automatically correct the incoming material in place deviation. The position of the workpiece in the material state is uncertain, and there are inconsistencies in the direction of the head, 3D vision system can be accurately identified by scanning and positioning, guiding the robot to accurately grasp the workpiece. At the same time, the sliding rail mounting method can simultaneously take into account the alternating operation of multiple material frames to improve the efficiency of the loading station.
