On October 11, the Guangdong International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Guangdong Smart Expo") officially kicked off at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan City, China. With the theme of "AI+ Makes Smart Manufacturing Smarter", many famous robot manufacturers showcased their latest collaborative robots at the show. We will showcase our vision-guided robots to manufacturers and visitors.

What is a collaborative robot

As a new type of industrial robot, collaborative robots have developed rapidly in recent years and have become a hot spot for robotics research. With its own lightweight, safe and easy-to-use as well as flexible and efficient features, collaborative robots are widely used in industries and fields such as automotive, 3C electronics, metal processing, new retail, logistics, etc. They are engaged in various applications such as assembly, inspection, tightening, loading and unloading, gluing, welding, sorting, grinding and assembly, which solve the complex human-machine operation and safety problems.

ALSONTECH 3D Vision & Elite Robot

ALSONTECH joined hands with Elite-Robot to demonstrate the application of 3D vision in path planning such as track gluing.

Elitec exhibited a wide range of application workstations and solutions and brought the featured workstation-beer robot to the show, while showing the rich applications of innovative technologies in small torque tightening, 3D trajectory gluing, intelligent unmanned charging of compound robots, and disorderly sorting of material frames.

In this exhibition, ALSONTECH built an intelligent gluing workstation with an Elitec EC612 collaborative robot and selected the AT-S1000-01A binocular laser vision sensor to complete the positioning guidance of the auto hood gluing track.

ALSONTECH 3D Vision & DOBOT Robotics

ALSONTECH joined hands with DOBOT Robotics to demonstrate the application of 3D vision in bin picking on site.

In this exhibition, DOBOT held the 2021 New Product Launch with the theme of "New Power of Matrix", and released three new collaborative robotic arms, CR3L, CR7 and CR12, to fully upgrade the matrix of CR series products. At the same time, we launched the new handheld trainer, the new generation of safety skin solution - flexible safety skin, and increased the number of mainstream programming software supporting SDK secondary development from the original 9 to 11, which greatly improved the user experience.

ALSONTECH built a workpiece placement station with a CR5 collaborative robot and selected the AT-S1000-06C-S binocular grating vision sensor to complete the disorderly grasping and orderly placement of workpieces.

ALSONTECH 3D Vision & CSC SIASUN Robot

ALSONTECH joined hands with SIASUN Robotics to demonstrate the application of 3D vision in composite robots on site.

The new SIASUN HC-X1 composite robot has large load, rich interface configuration compatible with configure vision and end-effector, and quickly build and implement the operation platform of vision positioning detection, gripping and handling. The new software interface is compatible with the common manufacturing execution system, material management system and real-time dispatching system.
